After a decade of organising for a mass regularisation of paperless migrants today the Spanish government announced 500,000 can stay & get papers if they were here on Dec 31st and can meet any of these, just One requirement, not all; registered locally for 5 months (you can be in Spain registered municipally even if no national right to live here or immigration papers), or have been treated by healthcare, or had an electricity bill, or sent money home to family. Spanish fascist & Steve Bannon backed VOX Party says it’s because the Socialist Party government hates Spaniards & is engineering the Great Replacement. The mass regularisation however doesn’t heed another vote. The hard work of numerous anti-racist people, many women, have won a well-needed people’s victory today in Spain.
